    About the Department:

               The department of Civil Engineering, established in year 2009, offers B.Tech program in Civil Engineering with an intake of 120 and M.Tech program in Structural                           Engineering with an intake of 24. It is endowed with well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. The department has well established and      state-of-art laboratories to cater the needs of the students.

              Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including     works like roads, bridges, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering and it was defined to distinguish non-military                 engineering from military engineering.

    PO1: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering for solving complex engineering problems.
    PO2: An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data to reach substantiated conclusions.
