ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADDMISSION OF UG & PG PROGRAMME

CMR Technical Campus is amongst the most competitive colleges when it comes to the admissions. The following is the criteria for the admission:
70% Admissions are taken under Convener Quota

To seek admission into first year of four-year B.Tech course in any branch, he/she must satisfy the following requirements:

A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as its equivalent.

All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted by EAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.

Management Quota:

  1. 30% of the total seats will be considered under Management Quota.
  2. To seek admission under Management Quota, he/she must satisfy the following requirements:

A student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as its equivalent.

Note: No reservation biased or any other concession will be given under Management Quota.

M.TECH - Eligibility Requirements:

a. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology of Any Recognized University in the concerned discipline.
b. AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized by UPSC as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
c. Valid GATE Score obtained in the GATE Examination.

Apart from requirements of qualifications as stated in the above, the admissions of sponsored candidates shall be taken.

1. The number of Sponsored candidates shall not be more than two in each specialization and not more than five in each department.
2. These seats are considered as supernumerary
3. He / She must be permanent employee with the sponsoring agency for at least (2) years, after obtaining the qualifying degree.
4. The sponsoring agency must be a Government establishment or a public-sector undertaking, or a reputed private undertaking.
5. The sponsoring agency shall-certify that the candidates will be granted leave for pursuing the M.TECH Full-Time course.
6. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.

M.B.A - Eligibility Requirements:

A candidate seeking admission into Two year MBA programme must satisfy the following criteria:
1. A pass in bachelors degree in any field with 45% marks in aggregate.
2. Must have qualified in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by AP State Council of Higher Education, Govt of AP.
3. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.
The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the ICET.
a. The Convener admits 70% of the intake to the MBA program based on the ICET rank.
b. The Management admits the remaining 30% under Management and NRI quota

Dress Code:

Students must follow the dress code, and it is mandatory for all students.
Boys: Formal shirt neatly tucked in, and trousers, Shoes and Hanging I - cards.
Girls: Salwar Kameez, Half / full shoes, Hanging I-Cards.
Note:
1. Students are allowed to wear Jeans and T-shirts only on Saturday
2. Students who are improperly dressed will not be allowed into the college Premises.

ID CARDS:

Students will be issued ID cards only after they have filled up their details in a prescribed form that will be issued to them at the time of registration. All the students should submit their details of blood group to the college at the time of registration. In case the card is lost, a duplicate ID card will be issued against a nominal payment.
Without the ID Cards the students will not be allowed into the college campus.

Attendance:

The continuous evaluation system adopted by the college clearly expects every student to be responsible for regularity in class rooms, internal tests and other tasks assigned to him/her in the course. As such, students are advised not to remain absent without submission of leave letter to the respective counselors.

Cell Phones:

Students will not be allowed to keep the cell phones with them. The cell phones with camera shall not be allowed in the college campus and if any culprit is found then it will be ceased by the college and will not be returned to the student. Any deviation from these norms would be viewed from a serious angle.
