About Research Center:
Today we are in a digitally rich world by virtue of rapid digitization in every industry. Digital technologies are used by every firm to offer value added services to customers and to maintain competitive edge, which led to creation of incredible amounts of data every minute. This large scale heterogeneous data need to be stored, processed and analyzed to gain deep insights of data and make effective decisions. Cloud computing and data analytics play a significant role in storage and processing of this large scale data.
This center of Excellence is to create awareness and encourage Research level development activities in implementing new innovation and technological advancement for both faculties and students in newly emerging frontier area of Engineering and Technology. CMR Technical Campus looks forward to taken an initiative to have a center in CSE (AI &ML) department in the field of Cloud Computing and Data Analytics.
Objectives:
- To carry research projects and make significant contribution to Technological Advancements in Cloud Computing and Data Analytics.
- To encourage faculty and students to publish technical papers in reputed National and International Journals, Conferences and Books.
- To form R&D group among the faculty members and encourage them to take part in the R&D activities in Cloud Computing and Data Analytics.
- To produce patents based on the work carried out in the research center.
- To create opportunities for students and exploit the available resources to the benefits of industry / Society.
