A ‘Policy’ is a predetermined course of action, which is established to provide a guide toward accepted strategies and objectives. It is a direct link between an organization’s ‘Vision’ and its day-to-day operations. Therefore it is fundamentally important for organisations to develop policy. An organisation without policy is an organisation without control. Policies identify the key activities and provide a strategy to decision-makers on how to handle issues as they arise. Policies and procedures also provide clarity to the reader when dealing with accountability issues or activities that are of critical importance to the institute. CMR Technical Campus believes in transparency in defining clear policies and processes in the institute for various activities. Keeping the competency in the current scenario the institute has framed the important police and has widely circulated among their staff.
