The Film and Photography Club: A Hub of Creativity and Talent
The Film and Photography Club of CMR Technical Campus was established in 2016 with the objective of promoting creative skills, visual literacy, and experiential learning among students. The club was founded by student coordinator Lohit under the mentorship of faculty advisor Siddik Ali Sir and has since evolved into a structured platform that encourages student participation in photography, filmmaking, and digital media activities. The club currently functions under the guidance of Mr. CH. Mallikarjuna Reddy, Assistant Professor.
The club actively contributes to holistic student development by organizing workshops, hands-on training sessions, photography drives, short film projects, and visual documentation of academic and cultural events on campus. Through collaborative learning, leadership opportunities, and skill-based activities, the Film and Photography Club enhances students’ technical competencies, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills, aligning with the institution’s vision of outcome-based education and experiential learning.
