About Head COEDA:
Center of Excellence is headed by Dr. Suwarna Gothane, Associate Professor, Computer Science and Engineering Department. Dr.Suwarna Gothane, Associate Professor in CSE is an academician with more than 12 years of teaching and research experience. She completed Ph.D. from SGBAU Amravati in 2019. She earned M.E and B.E in Computer Science from SGBAU. Dr. Suwarna Gothane area of research includes Data Mining, Big-Data Analytics and Image Processing. Under her leadership, the institute is successfully organizing many workshops, FDP and conferences. She is also faculty coordinator for Project Review Committee. Her Active participant, involved in all the college activities with dedication and commitment including in-house projects designed for the students. She attended many workshops/conferences (national/international). She is Chief Coordinator for Spoken Tutorials IIT Bombay. In her 12 years of service, she has served in various capacities of administration, research, and academic roles. She guided many students in M.Tech and B.Tech Projects. She published 35 Research Articles in various Journals & Conferences and also reviewer of few Journals. She is life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. She is the recipient of RULA International award 2018 for outstanding Researcher on paper title Automated Classification Framework for Road Condition Detection and Maintenance Prediction.
