The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Internet of Things (IoT) at CMR Technical Campus is a specialized initiative established to foster innovation, interdisciplinary research, and hands-on learning in emerging technologies. Founded in 2019, the CoE was launched with the support of passionate faculty and a group of enthusiastic students, with a vision to make the institution a hub for IoT-based learning and development.

The IoT CoE is a dedicated platform where students and faculty come together to explore real-time applications of smart devices, sensors, and automation systems. It enables a dynamic environment where ideas turn into working prototypes and innovations.

The centre regularly conducts a variety of technical events, including expert lectures, project showcases, hands-on workshops, faculty development programs, industrial collaborations, and student innovation challenges.
