Prof. G. Srikanth, holding position of Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, having 18 years of Teaching and research experience. His area of Specialization is VLSI & Embedded Systems. He has 16 International and national Journals to his credit. Life time member of IETE, ISTE and Member of IEEE. Currently He is working on 2 projects Funded by Department of Science & Technology. He worked as convener for several Faculty development Programs conducted by the department in association with premier institutes like IITs & NITS and worked as convener for several Conferences .He also have 2 patents filled in his account.

Under his guidance department Centre’s are executing various Activities like proposal writing for different funding agencies, research publication, Execution of students academic project in the centre’s, conducting incubation & innovation activates and organizing Faculty development programs and Conferences on
regular intervals.

HOD Message :

Electronics Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing fields of engineering. It covers a wide range of applications . Electronics has a major role in improving productivity in industries like oil, energy, agriculture and so many other important sectors of economy. In steel, petroleum and chemical industries it is the electronic devices that direct, control and test production processes. Health care industry depends on electronic instruments to perform chemical tests and to check body functions.

An Electronics engineer must find new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives. An electronics engineer will work in team with other specialists to design, fabricate, produce, test and supervise the manufacture of complex products and systems i.e electronic equipments and components for a number of industries including hospitals, computer industry, electronic data processing systems for communication and in defense etc. They supervise production and manufacturing processes and oversee installation and maintenance. Electronics engineers work with devices that use extremely small amounts of power. They work with microprocessors, fiber optics, and in telecommunication, television, radio etc.
