Dr. Kavitha Rani Balmuri, Professor of Information Technology, earned her Ph.D. in 2015 from JNTUK. She has more than fifteen years of academic experience in various reputed institutions in India. Her Ph.D. research was on A New Approach Using Machine Learning Techniques for Rainfall Prediction at JNTUK in Kakinada, A.P, India. She received her M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTUH in Hyderabad, Telangana, in 2009. Dr. Kavitha Rani’s research interests include Natural language processing, information retrieval, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Kavitha Rani has been in charge of administration since December of 2019. Dr. Kavitha Rani is active in encouraging students to join various professional bodies and in training them to be industry ready products. She has numerous papers published in international journals and conferences. She is also Life Member of CSI and ISTE.
